This site is a tribute to Barbara Durrance, a much loved and greatly missed mum, grandma, great-grandma and friend.

Barbara was a well-known, long-serving girl guider who dedicated a lot of her time to the local cause, most notably as a leader, camping fanatic and fund-raiser.  With guiding colleagues, she helped raise sufficient money to set up a fully-equipped Headquarters building in Felixstowe which continues to be used by the guides and other local organisations.

Barbara requested that any donations in her name should go towards the continued use and upkeep of the HQ to ensure that members of the community have somewhere safe to meet.
